There is the town of Kaunakakay in the center of the island. It is the largest city on the island, where the traveler can meet the locals and visit the many family stores. Park Palaau is located to the north of the city, where you can see the legendary “phallic Kauleonanahoa stone”. Guide of our tour told us there is a legend: if a woman makes an offering for the stone and hold the night near one, she came home pregnant. The main resort of Molokai is Kaluakoy, located on the west coast. There is the beach Papohaku here. It is the biggest beach of white volcanic sand in Hawaii. Its length is 4.8 km. We also visited the Reserve Camacho; it was a lush forest in the mountains where we saw many rare tropical plants and birds. Finally, my dream has come true: I saw the world’s highest coastal cliffs! They are located on the northern coast of the island.
